The Brief
The existing site was an unusable area on a steep slope, and was only used as a store area and for washing.
The client wanted to transform the side garden into an area for entertaining and for the family to use. The garden also needed to incorporate a barbecue house with a large dining area and a log store.

Our solution
To transform an unusable area into an entertainment area
The side garden, new retaining walls were created re-using the existing stone, and block and rendered walls. A raised, cantilever split level hardwood deck provided an entertaining area for the family. Raised beds to the rear of decking area were created using sleepers to provide an area for seating and also planting. The a new paved area below the cantilevered deck provided access from the front of the property to the side and rear.
The space underneath the cantilever deck provided the perfect area for a covered log store.
